Special
interests: Surgical Pathology of breast and
endocrine tissues
Dr Geoff Mower graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1982
and undertook pathology training at Flinders Medical Centre,
gaining his Fellowship in Anatomical Pathology in 1989.
He has worked as a consultant pathologist at several public and
private laboratories in Adelaide, including his own boutique
histopathology laboratory, Drs King and Mower, for 12 years. For
more than 20 years, he was a Senior Visiting Specialist at
BreastScreen SA. Geoff joined Clinpath Laboratories in 2014.
Geoff has experience in all aspects of surgical histopathology,
and has special interests in breast disease, endocrine disease and
fine needle aspiration biopsy. He is a member of the International
Academy of Pathology, the International Academy of Cytology, and
the Australasian Society for Breast Disease.
