Special
interests: Breast, gynaecological, urological and
lymphoma pathology, and fine needle aspiration cytology
Dr Margaret Lim graduated from the University of Adelaide and
went on to undertake specialist training in anatomical pathology
and cytopathology at the Institute of Medical and Veterinary
Science (IMVS), obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of
Pathologists of Australasia in 1995. She was subsequently appointed
as Consultant Pathologist at the IMVS before going into private
practice in 2001, at Gribbles Pathology. She then worked at
Drs King and Mower, becoming a partner in 2004, where she developed
her interests in breast and endocrine pathology, as well as in
gynaecological and urological pathology, before they merged with
Healthscope Laboratories in 2009. She came to Clinpath Laboratories
in 2014 with her colleagues from Drs King and Mower/Healthscope
joining her soon after. She was a Senior Visiting Specialist
at BreastScreen SA for eight years and is part of the Multi
Disciplinary Team at FMC Gynaecology Oncology Unit.
Dr Lim is a member of the Royal College of Pathologists of
Australasia, the International Academy of Pathologists and the
International Academy of Cytology. Her areas of interest
include breast, gynaecological, urological and lymphoma pathology,
and fine needle aspiration cytology.
