Special interests: Skin, gynaecological
and thoracic pathology, fine needle aspiration cytology
Dr Nicole Sladden graduated from the University of Adelaide in
2009 and undertook her specialty training in anatomical pathology
and cytopathology with SA Pathology. She completed her training in
2016 and subsequently worked as a consultant pathologist at
Australian Clinical Labs. She joined Clinpath Laboratories in 2018
where she works as a general anatomical pathologist whose areas of
special interest encompass skin, gynaecological and thoracic
pathology, as well as fine needle aspiration cytology.
Dr Sladden is a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of
Australasia and has served on its state committee for several
years, and previously as a member of its Trainees Committee. She is
an Associate Clinical Lecturer with the University of Adelaide and
maintains an interest in teaching at both the undergraduate and
specialty training levels. She is also a member of the Australasian
Dermatopathology Society, the Australian Society of Cytology and
Doctors for the Environment Australia.
