Dr Shriram Nath graduated in medicine in India in 2003 and
underwent higher specialist training in haemato-oncology and
paediatrics in Gujarat. In Australia, he underwent further clinical
and laboratory training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre,
Melbourne and the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide, and
received his Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of
Australasia in 2009, followed by the Graduate Certificate of
Public Health from Adelaide University.
He has also worked as consultant haematologist at the Royal
Adelaide Hospital, including the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, and
now works full-time in private clinical practice at Adelaide
Haematology (at the Ashford Specialist Centre on Anzac Highway) and
as a haemato-pathologist based at our main lab in Kent
Town.
Bone marrow biopsies are available (by appointment) for both
hospitalised patients and outpatients and where necessary.
